Raced with a couple guys I knew last night. It was the perfect night somewhere's in the 30 degree range outside temp.

240sx turbo used primarily for drifting pushing 8-9psi. Me: 20-24 psi. maftranslator 3inch maf and various intake exhaust mods along with what I believe is a 20g turbo made from t3-t4 components to fit the 12a cartridge.

From a roll of 30mph second gear layed into it left him by a car length. By third gear i was a car and a half. Fourth I left him in the dust. We stopped and talked afterwards and he said, "what is that? You're pretty quick. You're definitely way faster than me...I never race in a straight line but I liked that car and wanted to see what it could do." His car looked pretty sweet with some 11 inch rims on the back.

Came back into town and saw my friend in his automatic ls1 trans am. I chased him down. He was on his way home so we waited til we got on a long straight away. from a 30 mph roll we both floored it. I over reved and went way too rich as he pulled on me. We both slowed down and tried it again He was a quarter of a car ahead on most of the pulls. I kept over revvin. Still haven't got the hang of this thing. I have to shift around 4500 rpms to get a good run. I got one and we were side by side...didn't ask if he let off but I pulled by third gear. Can't call it a definite win but I was definitely happy. He's been to the track and ran 13.3 or so given with all the torque he has in first I doubt I would have had a chance from a stop but it was all fun and games and even he said my ride was quick so that felt good.

First runs I have been able to do in my ride with some real competition. Tried to race a Mustang GT earlier but had trouble getting a good pull and over revved or something. I'm way too rich on full throttle. Even the guy with ls1 thought so. Don't know how I'll be able to get it fully tuned though without goin out and buyin from fuelinjectionpro.com to get an ecu that uses a different setup....maybe in the future!
